Águilas is a small seaside town in South-East Spain, which enjoys a mild and sunny climate throughout the year.
Aguilas is closely related to the UK. In the XIX century, a large British community settled in the town to exploit the iron-ore mines and "esparto" plant in the area. This British community was known as the "Colonia Inglesa". And its also the reason Aguilas boasts the first football pitch built in Spain!
Biar is a beautiful historic village in Alicante. It's located on a small hill, surrounded by pine forests. As soon as you get there you will be surprised by how pure the air is! The town boasts an impressive castle built in the XIII century.
